**Job Title: Janitorial Worker** **Job Description** The position involves the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of a six-floor building, ensuring cleanliness and order throughout the facilities. This role is vital to maintaining a pleasant and hygienic environment for all occupants. **Responsibilities** + Patrol the exterior of the building to ensure cleanliness. + Remove trash from both interior and exterior areas. + Clean doors, windows, and glass surfaces. + Perform sweeping and mopping of floors. + Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by wiping down surfaces and ensuring toilets are flushed. + Stock restrooms and break rooms with necessary supplies. + Remove stains from various surfaces. + Perform upkeep and maintenance of break rooms. + Document actions and maintenance tasks in a computer system. **Essential Skills** + At least one year of experience in cleaning, janitorial, or housekeeping roles. + Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual capabilities are a plus. + Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering excellent service. + Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 20 lbs. + Ability to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and collaborate as part of a team. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience as a porter, janitor, custodian, or in housekeeping within a commercial setting is preferred. + Friendly and professional demeanor required at all times. **Why Work Here?** This position offers the opportunity to work onsite at a biopharma company, contributing to a detailed project for eight weeks. The shift schedule is Sunday through Thursday, starting at 5 am - 1:30 pm on Sunday and 5 pm - 1:30 am from Monday to Thursday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Fremont, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
