Job Title: Janitor

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and reliable Janitor to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and attention to detail, ensuring all areas are kept clean and sanitary.

ResponsibilitiesPerform general cleaning and maintenance of assigned areas.Clean and disinfect bathrooms, manufacturing floors, and common areas.Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and return them to their correct placement.Utilize assigned materials and equipment to clean designated areas effectively.Essential SkillsAt least 6 months of recent janitorial experience.Ability to perform basic cleaning tasks.Experience in cleaning bathrooms, manufacturing floors, and common areas.Additional Skills & QualificationsNo specific educational requirements.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work will be conducted on-site at a manufacturing plant in Fremont. The position involves working shifts that may include days, swings, or graves, with flexibility required. Shifts include Day Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Swing Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm, and Grave Shift: 10:00pm - 6:30am. Candidates must be open to all shifts. The facility requires both light and heavy lifting, with specific schedules assigned post-conversion.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
