Scope: Nicaragua

Overview:

Assist to the janitor’s coordinator to take care of the building and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties. keep the building in a clean and orderly condition.


Key Accountabilities:

•\tClean designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping,
restroom cleaning, etc)

•\tCarry out cleaning tasks.

•\tNotify immediate supervisor of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs

•\tMake adjust and minor repairs

•\tStock and maintain supply rooms

•\tCooperate with the rest of the staff

•\tFollow health and safety regulations

•\tRemove debris

•\tKeep areas neat and tidy

•\tShampoos carpets

•\tEmpties trash receptacles

•\tSweep and mop floors.
•\t Remove stains and clean surfaces.
•\tClean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors,
•\tclean dust furniture.
•\tClean and service restrooms
•\tMow lawns, trim shrubbery, plant flowers, and apply pesticides.
•\tIdentify and report possible repairs.
•\tFix minor facilities issues.
•\tReplace lining of trash cans.



Requirements:
•\tMinimum of 2 years of experience working as a janitor.
•\tHigh school diploma at the very least
•\tKnowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
•\tFamiliarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
•\tIntegrity and ability to work independently
•\tCustomer focus and results driven
