Responsibilities• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, hallways, stairwells, laundry rooms, community rooms, and other assigned areas• Sweep, mop, vacuum, polish, and maintain floors, including high-traffic areas• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and transport waste safely• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces• Refill restroom and cleaning supplies as needed• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to guidelines• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to supervisors• Follow established cleaning schedules, procedures, and safety standards• Assist with special cleaning projects such as move-outs, events, or seasonal cleaning• Coordinate tasks with other maintenance personnel as needed• Maintain regular and predictable attendance Qualifications and Requirements• Prior janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred, but not required• High school diploma or equivalent preferred• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods• Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor• Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings Benefits and Perks• $18/hr. starting pay• Clean, well-maintained work environment• Temp-to-hire opportunity with potential for growth• Referral bonuses• Supportive, team-oriented culture Your New OrganizationThis organization administers housing assistance programs that provide affordable, decent, and safe housing to low- and moderate-income households throughout Lake County.
