**Aerotek is urgently hiring a janitor to start on Monday, 9/15. This is a short-term contract position with the potential to become a permanent role.** Job Description We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across our production/manufacturing areas and office spaces. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment for employees and visitors, adhering to health and safety regulations. Responsibilities + Sweep, mop, and scrub floors in production areas using industrial cleaning equipment. + Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and locker rooms. + Remove waste and recyclables from designated areas and dispose of them properly. + Clean machinery exteriors and ensure surrounding areas are free of debris. + Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and PPE stations. + Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear. + Dust and vacuum offices, conference rooms, and common areas. + Clean windows, glass doors, and surfaces. + Empty trash receptacles and replace liners. + Sanitize high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, and shared equipment. + Maintain cleanliness in kitchenettes and restrooms. + Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor. Essential Skills + Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, and janitorial duties. + Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and vacuums. + Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices. + Strong attention to detail and time management skills. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent preferred. + Previous janitorial or custodial experience in industrial or office settings is a plus. Why Work Here?
