**Job Title: Floor Maintenance Specialist**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Floor Maintenance Specialist to perform essential stripping and waxing of tile floors in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in floor care and be proficient with floor machines.
**Responsibilities**
+ Strip old wax from tile floors using a floor machine.
+ Reapply new wax to tile floors to ensure a polished finish.
+ Work independently to complete tasks as directed by management.
+ Potentially transition into additional housekeeping responsibilities such as laundry, cleaning, and handling linens.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3+ years of experience in stripping and waxing floors.
+ Proficiency in using floor machines and zamboni machines.
+ Strong background in janitorial, cleaning, custodial, and housekeeping tasks.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in a hospital setting is a bonus.
+ Familiarity with environmental services and floor maintenance procedures.

**Work Environment**
The work is conducted within a hospital setting, with shifts available from 7am to 3:30pm or 3:30pm to 11pm. The role requires adherence to hospital safety protocols and professional attire suitable for a healthcare environment.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Torrington, Connecticut.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
