**Job Title: Janitor (2nd shift) at Gilbertsville Hospital** **Job Description** The role involves cleaning and servicing hospital rooms and facilities, ensuring they are kept in a clean and orderly manner. This position is part of a team providing high-quality and responsive support services to the healthcare industry. **Responsibilities** + Provide quality customer service with attention to detail. + Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors. + Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies. + Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery. + Dust and polish furniture and fittings. + Clean metal fixtures and fittings. + Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner. + Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers. + Wipe down glass surfaces. + Make beds and change linens as required. + Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout. + Respond to guest queries and requests. + Address housekeeping problems such as spills and broken glasses. + Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers and fellow associates. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in cleaning, mopping, and sanitation tasks. + Experience in janitorial duties and housekeeping. + Ability to maintain facilities in a clean and orderly manner. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience as a janitor or similar role in a healthcare setting is advantageous. + Strong communication and customer service skills. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that is recognized as one of the best places to work, providing innovative and responsive support services to top healthcare facilities. The role requires adherence to sanitation and cleanliness standards. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.25 - $16.25/hr.
