**Job Title: Janitor (2nd shift) at Gilbertsville Hospital** **Job Description** The role involves cleaning and servicing hospital rooms and facilities, ensuring they are kept in a clean and orderly manner. This position is part of a team providing high-quality and responsive support services to the healthcare industry. **Responsibilities** + Provide quality customer service with attention to detail. + Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors. + Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies. + Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery. + Dust and polish furniture and fittings. + Clean metal fixtures and fittings. + Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner. + Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers. + Wipe down glass surfaces. + Make beds and change linens as required. + Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout. + Respond to guest queries and requests. + Address housekeeping problems such as spills and broken glasses. + Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers and fellow associates. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in cleaning, mopping, and sanitation tasks. + Experience in janitorial duties and housekeeping. + Ability to maintain facilities in a clean and orderly manner. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience as a janitor or similar role in a healthcare setting is advantageous. + Strong communication and customer service skills. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that is recognized as one of the best places to work, providing innovative and responsive support services to top healthcare facilities.
