**Aerotek: Janitor - 2nd Shift** **Job Description** The Janitor role involves cleaning and servicing hospital rooms and facilities to maintain a clean and orderly environment for patients and staff. This position is vital in ensuring a positive healthcare experience and offers a flexible schedule with opportunities for overtime. **Responsibilities** + Perform light cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness in healthcare facilities, including hospitals. + Provide quality customer service with attention to detail. + Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors. + Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies. + Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery. + Dust and polish furniture and fittings. + Clean metal fixtures and fittings. + Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner. + Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers. + Wipe down glass surfaces. + Make up beds and change linens as required. + Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout. + Respond to guest queries and requests. + Address housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses. + Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow associates, and others. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Ability to perform light cleaning duties effectively. + Strong attention to detail and customer service skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + No previous experience required. **Why Work Here?** Join the largest hospital network in the Lehigh Valley with a flexible schedule and opportunities for overtime.
