**Aerotek: Janitor (2nd shift and 1st shift) at Schuylkill Hospital** **Job Description** We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented janitors to join our team at Schuylkill Hospital. Your role will involve maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of hospital rooms and facilities, ensuring a sanitary and welcoming environment for patients and staff. **Responsibilities** + Provide exceptional customer service by offering personalized attention to detail. + Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors to maintain cleanliness. + Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies effectively. + Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery as needed. + Dust and polish furniture and fittings to maintain a neat appearance. + Clean metal fixtures and fittings, ensuring they are spotless. + Empty and clean trash containers, disposing of waste in a sanitary manner. + Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers thoroughly. + Wipe down glass surfaces to maintain clarity and cleanliness. + Make beds and change linens as required, maintaining comfort for guests. + Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout. + Respond promptly to guest queries and requests. + Address housekeeping issues such as spills and broken glass efficiently. + Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers and colleagues. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in sanitation and cleaning procedures. + Experience with janitorial and housekeeping duties. + Ability to effectively perform tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in a janitorial role is preferred. + Knowledge of facilities management and sanitation protocols. **Work Environment** You will be working in a hospital environment, adhering to the highest standards of cleanliness.
