The J.P. Morgan Wealth Management (USWM) business is focused on helping investors achieve their long-term financial goals and is comprised of Chase Wealth Management (CWM), J.P. Morgan Advisors (JPMA), J.P. Morgan Personal Advisors (our remote advice channel), and Self-Directed (our digital investing platform). The combined business has ~$600 billion in Assets Under Management and over 5,000 advisors located across 3,500 branches and 20 offices.
As a Vice President in Wealth Management Banking Business Development, you will be responsible for managing core business initiatives supporting our Wealth Management Banking product platform, with specific attention to the cash sweep offering, investment-aligned bank deposits, and traditional banking products to promote balance growth, product harmonization, and consistency across our wealth management business. This may include initiatives aligned toward product development, pricing, product training and education, and/or business risk and controls. You will gain experience in all aspects of product distribution, including strategy development, content creation and design, sales marketing, and financial analysis.
Job Responsibilities:
Drive run the bank and/or change-the-bank initiatives that will advance the WM Banking product experience through partnership with key stakeholders such as Tech Product, Operations, Finance, Treasury, Sales, Service, and Digital teams, as well as Legal, Risk, and Compliance.Represent voice of the Advisor and Client experience when developing new technology, product, or platform enhancementsDrive requirements gathering, definition and documentation to the required levels of quality and specificity including capturing business needs, technical needs, dependencies, testing necessities and approvalsQuantify market opportunities to set prioritization of key deliverablesProvide general support on key initiatives, including but not limited to process development, project planning , product management, and communications developmentServe as subject matter expert on product offering, including team representative on firm workstreams and initiativesParticipate in projects related to productivity improvements, compliance, and other matters as neededLiaise across the firm as appropriate, establishing and maintaining partnerships with LOB specific product, technology, marketing, legal, risk, compliance, finance, and operations partners
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Minimum of 6 years of financial services product or project management experience; Wealth ManagementBachelor’s degree required Superior communication skills; ability to lead multi-stakeholder projects end to endAbility to actively work within a team environment while driving accountability from key stakeholdersStrong analytical skills and ability to translate and synopsize data for decision-makingAdvanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Banking and/or Lending experience strongly preferred Familiarity with IT project work – writing requirements, partnering on testing plans, and holding partners accountable to deliver solutions that meet all business needs
