As an Annuity Advisor Team Lead you will create a culture of excellence and an environment that meets a high standard of service and distinction within the community by building deep relationships and delivering an exceptional customer experience, with a particular emphasis on annuity solutions. In this role, you will play a key role in promoting our customer-obsessed culture, ensuring clients understand the benefits and opportunities provided by annuities. You will lead a team of Financial Advisors who service a wide range of clients, from those just starting to save to those with significant wealth, guiding them in incorporating annuities into their financial strategies to enhance their long-term financial security.
Job responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team to leverage their understanding of financial markets, with a focus on annuities, ensuring they can simplify complex financial concepts and build rapport and credibility with clients. Oversee the delivery of exceptional client experiences by guiding team members to adapt conversations to meet the diverse needs of the client base. Ensure team members possess and continue to build on a broad range of investment products knowledge, with a primary focus on annuity products and account types, to provide comprehensive solutions to clients. Support team members in understanding client needs and developing advice and strategies to achieve clients' investment goals. Promote strong connections between team members, colleagues, and outside partners to enhance annuity solutions, strengthen relationships, and deliver personalized financial advice to clients. Set clear targets and objectives for the team, and manage, track, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to ensure alignment with business goals and drive performance improvements. Partner closely with the Supervisory Manager to manage all day-to-day administrative, supervisory, and operational aspects of the business, achieving strategic objectives for a designated territory. Create a culture of risk and control, acting with urgency to safeguard customers and the business. Be proactive, taking initiative to identify solutions, possessing an entrepreneurial spirit, and executing with urgency.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
At least 5 years of Advisor management experience required, coupled with a proven track record of developing and coaching high performing Advisor team A valid and active FINRA Series 7, 66 (or equivalent) is required A valid and active FINRA Series 9/10 (or equivalent) is required and must be obtained or retained within a 60 day condition of employment Proven ability to recruit, source and attract internal and external Advisor talent by building and maintaining personal network of contacts Possess a strong understanding of investment services and products, with a particular focus on annuities, and maintain a keen interest in the financial markets. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, excellent follow-through and a strong commitment to upholding a sound risk and controls environmentPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
