The Investment Associate is an integral member of the Financial Advisor’s team. An Investment Associate works in close partnership with the Financial Advisor(s) in proposing, delivering, and executing solutions for clients; as well as in identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of market conditions and global economic outlook. 

Job Responsibilities:

Advise on portfolio construction including overall asset allocation, tactical shifts and security selection and perform client portfolio reviews on a regular basis in conjunction with or by direction of the Financial AdvisorMarket and implement complex investment solutions in accordance with High-Net-Worth clients’ investment objectivesIdentify and develop new business opportunities from existing client baseAttend product rollouts, ideas calls and research meetings to stay current on all JP Morgan Wealth Management products and servicesProvides investment support across a diverse suite of products and applications including, but not limited to; Advisor Services, Wealth Planning & Advice, Goal Based planning, liabilities planning, banking & lending solutions, mortgages and digital offerings through JP Morgan Online and mobile suiteDevelops marketing strategy and builds presentations on behalf of the Financial Advisor(s)Ad Hoc service requests as needed on behalf of the team/clients

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

5 plus years’ experience in Financial Services industryFINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses required for the position: preferred upon hiring but must be obtained within 180 days of hireBachelor's degree or equivalent experience requiredProven ability to be a self-starter, act as an end-to-end owner of tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment Proactively identify and delivery appropriate solutions that address the needs of our clientsAbility to communicate effectively with clients and team members while maintaining professionalism in difficult situations

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Certified Public Accountant designationAble to adapt and stay abreast of changing technology and regulatory policies Highly proficient user of Word, PowerPoint and Excel
