J.P. Morgan Advisors – Head of Advisor Recruiting - Vice President

As the Head of Advisor Recruiting for J.P. Morgan Advisors, you will lead our recruiting strategy to align with business needs. Collaborating closely with the Head of Business Development and Field Leadership, you will source and evaluate potential candidates, recommend deal structures, and manage the entire recruiting process. You will develop innovative strategies to foster growth in existing markets and explore expansion into new, high-potential markets. Job Responsibilities:

Lead the experienced Financial Advisor recruiting process, focusing on expanding the Wealth Partners/UHNW practice and driving growth in target markets. Serve as the national lead for Financial Advisor recruiting, working closely with Regional Directors to ensure consistency and discipline across all regions. Develop and implement recruiting strategies, exploring new sourcing methods and technologies, and enhancing existing processes based on best practices. Organize "VIP days" for potential recruits at our NYC headquarters and provide hiring recommendations based on stakeholder feedback. Conduct due diligence on candidates’ books, assess the viability of their business, and model various performance outcomes. Propose deal structures for candidates and collaborate with Human Resources and other functional partners to finalize offers. Create recruiting collateral in partnership with marketing. Monitor industry trends and build relationships with third-party recruiters and other key players. Maintain strong controls in collaboration with internal functions, adhering to company policies and regulatory changes.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Extensive experience in wealth management, ideally in recruiting, business development, or field leadership. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with professionalism in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Strategic thinking and analytical skills, particularly in Excel modeling. Ability to partner with and influence a variety of stakeholders to drive consensus. Inclusive leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across different groups and regions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required. Extensive experience in wealth management and/or recruiting. NYC location preferred.
