Job Title: IV Pharmacy Technician
Job Description
The IV Pharmacy Technician is responsible for mixing IV and other pharmaceutical preparations using proper sterile compounding techniques. The role involves adhering to documented instructions, warnings, procedures, and best practices to ensure safe and effective drug preparation. The technician will perform environmental monitoring, sanitation, testing, and other activities as required by applicable federal and state pharmacy regulations and USP-797. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate drug inventory through purchasing, receiving, stocking, pulling, counting, and tracking drug items in accordance with established policies and procedures, cleaning ante-room and clean room according to USP-797 standards, and maintaining clean room logs.
Responsibilities

Current, active, and in good standing technician license/registration in the state of employment.Experience as a pharmacy technician preferred.Home infusion therapy experience preferred but not required.Organizational skills and ability to set priorities.Ability to work independently and as an effective team member.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Efficiency in fast-paced work environments.Computer proficiency.Work Environment
The work environment is a Closed Door Pharmacy with at-home infusion. The hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, with rotation for on-call weekends, mainly Saturdays. You will be working with a team of 15 people. There is room for growth and advancement, and the role is not patient-facing.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
