Job Title: ITAD Repair Technician

Job Description

Join our team as an ITAD Repair Technician, where you will be responsible for handling electronic goods, conducting visual inspections, and performing testing and diagnostics on various devices. Your role will include ensuring the functionality and cleanliness of laptops and other equipment, as well as data wiping and imaging.

Responsibilities

Work hands-on with electronic goods.Perform visual inspections of incoming goods and clean laptops and equipment.Test products, cords, and plugs.Inspect cords/plugs, conduct data wiping, and diagnose and image devices.Sort and inspect boxes of products.Set up devices according to instructions.Power and test electronic goods as per instructions.View and manage pick sheets/order sheets.Track product inventory.Work with computers to log or track inventory and parts.

Essential Skills

Experience with warehouse operations, picking, and using RF scanners.Proficiency in loading and unloading inventory.Ability to operate a pallet jack.Familiarity with using iPads and smartphones for inventory management.IT Experience, Diagnostics and Repairing

Work Environment

The role is set in a warehouse environment, specifically in the ITAD section, which is a secure, lab-like area within the warehouse. This environment supports a focused and secure approach to handling electronic goods.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CAROL STREAM, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
