**DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a dynamic professional to support, enhance, and lead Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and **Industry 4.0** digital transformation initiatives at our Phaltan site. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in **Apriso MES** along with exposure to analytics, low-code development, and IT infrastructure. **Key Responsibilities** + Implement, configure, and support **Apriso MES** and related manufacturing IT systems + Lead and support **Industry 4.0 initiatives** such as IoT sensor integration, digital data flows, automation, and connected factory systems + Develop real-time dashboards and analytics using **Power BI** to drive data-based decision-making + Build and maintain digital applications using **Power Apps / Mendix** + Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Process Engineering teams to digitize workflows and improve process efficiency + Coordinate with IT Infrastructure teams for server, network, and cloud readiness for digital deployments + Work on MES–ERP (Oracle preferred) integrations and data exchange + Write, review, and optimize **SQL queries** ; support database management + Troubleshoot and resolve application issues; perform root-cause analysis and continuous improvement + Ensure compliance, documentation, cybersecurity, and change management for digital systems **RESPONSIBILITIES** **Qualifications & Experience** + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science / IT or equivalent + 3–8 years of experience in MES or Manufacturing IT Systems + Experience working in a plant or shop-floor digital environment preferred **Key Competencies** + Strong problem-solving & analytical mindset + Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration + Ability to operate independently at the plant site + Passion for digital transformation and Industry 4.0 technologies **QUALIFICATIONS** **Must-Have Skills** + Strong hands-on experience with **Apriso MES** + Solid understanding of **SQL** and databases + Working knowledge of **Industry 4.0 concepts** (IoT, automation, connectivity, real-time data) **Good-to-Have Skills** + **Power BI** , **Power Apps** , **Mendix** + Knowledge of **IT Infrastructure** (servers, networks, cloud) + Experience with **Oracle ERP** integration + Understanding of shop-floor systems such as SCADA, PLC connectivity (Industry 4.0 advantage) This is onsite requirement, No workfrom home **Job** Systems/Information Technology **Organization** Cummins Inc. **Role Category** On-site with Flexibility **Job Type** Exempt - Experienced **ReqID** 2423137 **Relocation Package** No **100% On-Site** Yes Due to the operational nature and specific job duties of this role, work is required to be completed 100% in person/On-site.
