Job Description:
This role is primarily responsible for providing L1/L2 support for Treasury applications which include ALM, Risk Management, Data Management, and Trading systems.
Provide high quality application and user support to ensure IT systems availability, reliability, and performance that support business processes globallyPerform proactive application health checks to prevent potential failuresManage the Incident through to completion. Engage various IT teams in resolving incidents efficiently and effectively.Perform effective problem management on recurring incidents. Lead and manage problems throughout the lifecycle.Ensure problem resolutions are released in production on-time and with high quality.Ensure all changes to the Production Environment follow the TD Bank's Change management process.Ensure change activities are performed on time, minimizing risk to the service/business environmentProactively review IT environment to ensure that steps are taken to support new IT related regulations and address gaps in the procedurePerform scheduled activities such as DR testing, user attestations, remediation of control audit, etc.Update knowledge-based articles on timely manner and conduct trainings across regions.Develop and maintain relationships with Client(s), Relationship Managers and Project Managers.Work effectively as a team, supporting other team members in achieving project/ business objectives and providing client services.Support a positive work environment that promotes customer service, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest.Provide after- hours support if requiredJob Requirements:
Experience in Banking Operations technologies such as liquidity and market riskPractical working experience in multi-tier applications support will be an asset to have.Practical experience of support both Physical, and VMware environmentsUnderstanding of financial markets and products.Experience working with developers, business analysts, and infrastructure support teams will be an asset.Knowledge of automation and process improvementStrong understanding of ITIL Incident Management, Problem Management and Change ManagementExperience in Linux, Oracle, MS SQL DB, ITRS, Autosys, Dynatrace, SplunkKnowledge of cloud technologies, including AzureKnowledge of Scripting, SQL and/or experience in programming languages such as Java and PythonKnowledge of IT project & development lifecycles (SDLC), agile methodology, and ITILExperience in messaging, middleware, Java application serversComputer science or Mathematics degree desiredWho We Are
