IT Strategy & Innovation Director
Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The IT Strategy and Planning Director is responsible for providing business unit partners with guidance on IT enablement strategies and aligning business for IT strategic planning, analysis and execution of functional plans.
How you will make an impact:
• Align strategies with the overarching IT strategies and advancing technology solutions to support business growth and opportunities.
• Advance innovative solutions that support business growth.
• Build foundations for the strategic portfolio operation by designing structures, processes, and disciplines that provide visibility and insights across diverse work types, while respecting the autonomy of each team’s delivery approach.
• Partner with governance to improve frameworks that balance rigor with flexibility, enabling consistent portfolio oversight without stifling innovation in a federated, matrixed environment.
• Drive transparency and executive-level reporting by ensuring accurate, timely data capture in common systems and translating complex portfolio performance into actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Partner with business and IT leaders to align portfolio strategies with enterprise objectives, shaping investment decisions and prioritization based on clear value and impact, while driving innovation, operational efficiency, and measurable business outcomes.
• Analyze portfolio performance to identify emerging opportunities, optimize resource allocation, and inform strategic decision-making.
• Champion change and adoption by influencing stakeholders to embrace standardized practices for portfolio tracking and reporting, ensuring accountability and clarity across the organization.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 15 years of experience in technology, product management, strategic planning, and/or consulting, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
• Experience in strategic portfolio management, governance design, and process optimization in a complex, federated organization is preferred.
• Ability to translate technical and operational data into executive-level insights, including dashboards and KPIs that drive action is preferred.
• Familiarity with portfolio management tools and methodologies (e.g., PPM platforms, Agile frameworks, SAFe) is preferred.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and change leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and cross-functional teams is preferred.
• Experience leading the development and execution of strategic portfolio management cadence and disciplines is preferred.
