The Pharmacy Specialist, IT serves as a liaison between the pharmacy department and the IT team to ensure the effective implementation, optimization, and support of pharmacy-related technologies. This role involves analyzing pharmacy workflows, configuring systems, providing technical support, and participating in projects that enhance patient safety, medication management, and operational efficiency.

Education

Bachelors Level Degree in Pharmacy (Required)

Doctorate Level Degree in Pharmacy (Preferred)

Certification/Licensure

Virginia Pharmacist License (Required)

Experience

2 Years of Pharmacist experience in a Hospital or Clinical Setting

Experience in one of the following areas is required : Technical Expertise in Epic, Developing projects with IT teams, Hospital Protocol Development
