We are looking for you to join our team as an IT Software Infrastructure Manager I (Manager Software Engineering I) based out of McClellan, CA (Sacramento area).

What You’ll Get to Do:

Be responsible for developing the automation of our applications, systems, and processesManage a team of System Administrators, Network Engineers, Cyber Security, Software Engineers and DevOps Engineers to support Agile Software DevelopmentDesign automation implementation strategy for manual software and IT processes for both unclassified and classified development environmentsAutomate infrastructure utilizing the Atlassian tool suite and other Northrop Grumman recommended tools such as Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, and many moreAutomate backup and restoration processes and test the recovery of those backups on a regular basisBuild pipeline configurations to orchestrate provisioning and deployment of both large- and small-scale systemsEnable software developers to write unit tests and integration tests for code validationEnable the software developers to identify software defects in their existing code base and constantly improve the code qualityAutomate monitoring tools to monitor system health and reliability to support high uptime requirementsAutomate disaster recovery plans to support the applicationsScale infrastructure to meet rapidly increasing demandDevelop and improve operational practices and proceduresActively support product development teams and other stakeholders to maintain business continuity and maintain customer satisfaction

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in technical discipline and 5+ years' experience with System Administration, Cyber Security or Network Engineering OR Master of Science degree in a technical discipline and 3+ years of experience with System Administration, Cyber Security or Network Engineering. Experience with Windows, Linux and StorageExperience with Agile DevOps methodology & automation tools (Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, etc.)Must have experience leading a team and projectsMust have US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance/SCI

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in a relevant technical or management specialtyExperience leading, developing, and managing a direct staff of employeesExperience in supporting or leading System Admins., Network Engineers and/or Software Developers with hands-on experience a plusProgram Management ExperienceExperience in driving organizational changeDevOps ExperienceAgile, SAFe ExperienceActive TS/SCI security clearance

Primary Level Salary Range: $129,900.00 - $194,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
