IT Project Coordinator
Title: IT Project Coordinator Location: Remote Duration: 12+ Months Overview of Project: Engagement with Johnson Controls to provide M&A Onboarding Project Coordinator role to assist on IT divestiture activities and support of the IT Separation Management Office (SMO). This role will coordinate program governance and process activities related to onboarding and offboarding program resources and divested entity employees, as appropriate. Project coordinator ensures that all resources are onboarded and offboarded to the program. This includes updating the resource directory, creating global ids requesting email, acquiring laptops, tracking end dates, etc. Provides training on the onboarding, offboarding and other SMO processes to program members. Also assist with coordinating weekly status reports and updates to financial forecast vs budget. Support other SMO Team members as directed. The individual in this role must be a skilled communicator since the role interacts with all levels inside and outside the organization. A good understanding of priorities and professional handling of temporary stress without losing sight of the mission objective is required and expected. Timeline: This work is for approximately 12 months from the start date with the potential for extensions up to 18+ months. Responsibilities include: 1. Coordinate onboarding and offboarding resources for divested entity as well as program resources 2. Work closely with Identity & Access Management team and other management teams, as needed, to ensure all onboarding and offboarding processes are completed efficiently and in compliance with company policies 3. Manage requests for access to applications that may be offered under Transition Service Agreement (TSA). 4. Track and report on counts, progress, etc. on recurring basis 5. Follow up with users on training requirements to ensure completions 6. Manage the review and disposition of IT tickets for password reset, etc. for divested employees 7. Assist with maintaining budget / forecast information based on program resources onboarded 8. Schedule and coordinate internal and external meetings 9. Assist with status reports as requested 10. May be trained as backup to VMO GO processing Requirements: • 3-5 years of experience in project coordinator role with background in onboarding • Experience with SharePoint and Teams required • Excellent communication and organization skills • Exposure to ticketing systems is a plus • Must be able to use problem-solving/critical thinking skills, and independent thinking to overcome challenges • Effective communication with project team members, key stakeholders, and sponsors • Must be self-motivated and able to work with ambiguity and aggressive timelines Assumptions: • Resource will report to IT Deal Lead and work closely with IT SMO team • Resources will work the entire duration remotely. • Any Travel and travel related expenses should be in accordance with JCI expense and Travel policy and must be pre-approved by JCI • Any overtime rate not to exceed max rate listed and requires pre-approval by JCI If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
