As a Sourcing Manager, you will manage high-impact vendor relationships by ensuring strong communication and issue resolution with key contacts. You will lead vendor evaluations and contract negotiations to maximize value and performance outcomes. Your collaboration with internal experts will be vital to assess vendor financials, operations, and delivery capabilities. Monitoring post-contract performance and recommending improvements based on data-driven insights will be crucial aspects of your role. You will partner with IT and Legal teams to assess risk, ensure compliance, and optimize contract terms. Conducting vendor risk reviews and supporting compliance efforts related to third-party oversight are essential duties. Additionally, you will help build and maintain a preferred vendor ecosystem to streamline sourcing and pricing strategies. Defining and implementing governance standards, performance metrics, and vendor management processes will be part of your strategic oversight responsibilities.

The role offers a flexible hybrid schedule, requiring onsite presence for the first week. After the first week, onsite presence is required for two days every other week. Initially, building relationships in person is crucial, and more flexibility will be available later based on performance. Ideally, the role involves being onsite 60% of the time, typically three days a week. However, flexibility is offered for specific project needs, allowing adjustments in office presence as necessary. A tech-driven environment with cross-functional teams will be part of the work landscape.
