IT Process Automation Engineer

The IT Process Automation Engineer will identify repetitive tasks and activities that may be performed more efficiently through automation. This role will also identify critical workflows that could be performed in a more reliable/predictable fashion through automation. Provides ‘hands on’ responsibility for installing, configuring and operating specific automation solutions in our production environment. **What will I do?** + Innovate and pioneer new automation opportunities within ITSM and ITIL frameworks to enhance consistency, efficiency and transparency + Install, maintain, and repair automation systems and applications + Participate in cross-functional teams as well as stakeholders to plan and implement automation solutions + Manage mid-to-large-scale projects to ensure timely completion + Provide technical leadership and design expertise on industry protocols and new product development + Mentor and train staff on the operation and procedures of automation systems **Required Qualifications** + 3 or more years of experience using knowledge of server/OS administration, networking, and security concepts at the Coordinator/Analyst/Department Manager level + Systems aptitude **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience with BMC TrueSight Orchestration + Experience with BMC Server Automation + Experience with synthetic testing and application monitoring + Verbal and written communication skills + Bachelor's Degree in a related field At Wegmans, we’ve long believed we can achieve our goals only if we first fulfill the needs of our people.
