Job Description:

To improve the overall productivity of our Infrastructure and Operations teams and reduce the risk of inadvertently disrupting business by automating existing operational workflows. The IT Process Automation Engineer will identify repetitive tasks and activities that may be performed more efficiently through automation. This role will also identify critical workflows that could be performed in a more reliable/predictable fashion through automation. Provides ‘hands on’ responsibility for installing, configuring and operating specific automation solutions in our production environment.

Innovate and pioneer new automation opportunities within ITSM and ITIL frameworks to enhance consistency, efficiency and transparencyInstall, maintain, and repair automation systems and applicationsParticipate in cross-functional teams as well as stakeholders to plan and implement automation solutionsManage mid-to-large-scale projects to ensure timely completionProvide technical leadership and design expertise on industry protocols and new product developmentMentor and train staff on the operation and procedures of automation systems

Required Qualifications

3 or more years of experience using knowledge of server/OS administration, networking, and security concepts at the Coordinator/Analyst/Department Manager level  Systems aptitude

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with BMC TrueSight OrchestrationExperience with BMC Server AutomationExperience with synthetic testing and application monitoringVerbal and written communication skillsBachelor's Degree in a related field
