Our client, a leading organization in the professional services industry, is seeking a Director of IT Outsourcing Transition Management to join their team. As a Director, you will be part of the Technology & Operations department supporting enterprise-wide infrastructure and application outsourcing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong global program leadership, deep experience in outsourcing transitions, and exceptional change management skills which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Director – IT Outsourcing Transition Management
**Location: Chicago, Illinois**
**Pay Range:** 80.00-85.00
**What's the Job?**
+ Lead the end-to-end transition of IT infrastructure and application services to external vendors
+ Establish and oversee program governance and transition execution plans
+ Stand up and lead a Service Management Organization (SMO) to manage vendor performance
+ Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
+ Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and operational standards across global markets
**What's Needed?**
+ Proven experience leading large-scale global outsourcing transitions
+ Strong background in service management, vendor governance, and performance metrics
+ Expertise in change management and cross-functional stakeholder engagement
+ Familiarity with ITIL, COBIT, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2)
+ Experience in multi-vendor environments and global delivery models
