Job Description:

Portfolio Manager - IT Operations Specialist (Cloud / Data / Finance / Resource) Level 10 - Individual Contributor

We're looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Portfolio Manager - IT Operations Specialist (Cloud and Data) to join our team. This pivotal role will oversee the operational performance of Data/Cloud/AI Operations Management (driving aggressive mandate around resource, finance  , with a specific focus on cloud-based infrastructure (Azure), data and ai centric initiatives. You'll be instrumental in driving efficiency around operations and support aspects for this portfolio (IT Service Operations, Finance, Resource, Executive Leadership Support) , by providing key insights through robust reporting and analytics. Reporting to Senior Leadership within TD Data Operations and Support – Drive key deliverables towards secure, faster and efficient data services/products with key Responsibilities:

 -  Support coordinating the large IT Support and Operations portfolio:

Manage the overall operational health and performance of IT Operations portfolios, with a strong emphasis on Cloud (Azure) and Data/AI initiatives.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

Develop, collect, and analyze operational metrics. Create compelling presentations, reports, and dashboards to summarize portfolio status, performance, and key insights for leadership and stakeholders.

Cross-functional Coordination:

Collaborate closely with managers and peer teams to ensure seamless execution, alignment on priorities, and effective resolution of operational challenges across portfolios.

Leadership alignment:

Lead and facilitate operational huddles, ensuring clear agendas, actionable outcomes, and effective communication.

 IT Support and Incident Oversight:

Take ownership of major incident management processes, coordinating response efforts, communication, and post-incident reviews to minimize impact and prevent recurrence.

Strategic Reporting & Dashboards:

Facilitate, design, build, and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards that provide real-time visibility into operational metrics, trends, and key performance indicators.

 ITSM & Product Lifecycle Management:

Apply strong knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and product lifecycle management best practices to optimize service delivery and operational processes.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within IT operations, leveraging data and technology to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Required Qualifications:

Experience: 10+ years of experience in IT operations, portfolio management, or a similar role with significant exposure to cloud environments, data/insights management for effective executive leadership support .

Technical Acumen:

   Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Azure services and cloud operations.   Strong understanding of Data concepts, including data pipelines, data warehousing, and data analytics.   Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their operational implications is a significant asset.

Operational Excellence:

Problem solving mindset and approach with proven track record of managing operational metrics, developing performance reports, and presenting complex information clearly and concisely.Incident Management - Solid experience in managing major incidents, including coordination, communication, and root cause analysis.ITSM & Product Lifecycle:  In-depth knowledge of ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and experience applying product lifecycle management principles to IT services.

Communication & Leadership:

Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to lead meetings, influence stakeholders, and work effectively across diverse teams.

Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.Experience with reporting and dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), project management software, and ITSM platforms.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics/ Statistics/ Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Industry certifications around ITIL/COBIT/SixSigma / Azure  would be an asset
