Candidates within 1 hour of Charlotte, NC or Corning, NY preferred Pay Rate: Based on experience Hours: M–F, 8:00am–5:00pm Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (required) Overview We are seeking a senior-level Network Engineer to design, implement, and support advanced enterprise network solutions. This role serves as a technical subject matter expert across routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, and network automation initiatives, supporting both enterprise and manufacturing environments. Key Responsibilities Design and deploy enterprise routing and switching solutions (Cisco, Arista) using IaC principles Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize BGP and OSPF Architect and support wireless networks, with emphasis on MIST Build and maintain network automation using Ansible, Terraform, Python, and APIs Partner with cross-functional teams to align network strategy with business needs Create and maintain network documentation, standards, and SOPs Evaluate emerging technologies to improve performance, automation, and security Participate in on-call rotation for operational support Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field 8+ years of experience as a Senior Network Engineer Strong expertise in enterprise LAN, SD-WAN, routing, and switching Advanced knowledge of BGP, OSPF, Cisco, and Arista platforms Experience designing and supporting wireless networks Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications CCNP, Arista ACE L5, or equivalent certifications Arista and MIST certifications Hands-on experience with MIST wireless solutions Cloud and hybrid networking experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) Manufacturing or OT network experience Travel Up to 30% travel, including potential international travel (may increase during critical projects) Additional Information W2 only; no C2C or third-party vendors No third-party resumes accepted Drug testing may be required CTG is an Equal Opportunity Employer and E-Verify Company DOD/ITAR Requirement This is a DOD/ITAR facility.
