Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an IT Intern to join the Data Power & Control Division Starline Team in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. Seeking a college/graduate student for a summer internship. The Intern will assist in the IT business applications tasks, including business processes analysis around critical business applications, especially the ERP and Office 365 Power Platform. The intern will learn about business requirements gathering, compilation, analysis, and solutions design under the instruction of senior IT members.
Main Activities:
Analyze problems both technically and from business usersFix problems as necessary with code or data changesInterface with various business partners to understand processes and problemsPerform data analyticsCreate documentation around customizations and processes
Main Job Duties:
Determine causes for points of failureUnderstanding data, technical process flows, and business process flowsReverse engineering and understanding of existing code and system processesMake coding changes in the system as requiredData analysis and data miningDocumenting changes and processes as necessary

QualificationsEducation:
Rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
