IT Business Partner - Implementations
**DESCRIPTION** **Overview:** The IT Business Partner - Implementations will serve as the strategic interface with assigned business units or functional areas for the purpose of solution discovery, risk management, and relationship management. The ideal candidate will effectively communicate decisions, priorities, and relevant project information to appropriate levels of staff regarding business unit requests, projects, and initiatives. Proactively share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business units. Responsible for driving the implementation of new systems. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** : + Serve as liaison between technical and non-technical departments to ensure that all targets and requirements are met. + Work closely with stakeholders to develop an in-depth understanding of their team, products, and objectives. + Identify organizational needs for new software or technology that will help with efficiency and/or performance. + Manage project expectations through regular meetings, project status reports, and maintaining great relationships. + Proactively identify and deliver on growth opportunities within assigned accounts. **QUALIFICATIONS** To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. The requirements identified herein are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. **Hybrid:** This position follows a Hybrid Work Schedule, requiring the employee to work on‑site a minimum of three (3) days per week at or near an Acosta Corporate Office. The remaining days may be worked remotely, depending on business needs and team collaboration requirements. Candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance or be willing to relocate to meet this on‑site expectation. **Education / Experience** : Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, MIS, business or equivalent work experience; previous experience in the retail industry is highly desired. **Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:** Project management certification is highly desired, project management experience is acceptable. **Skills & Abilities:** + First-hand experience working with development lifecycles such as RUP, SDLC, etc.; First-hand experience working with ITIL lifecycles/processes. + Excellent knowledge of project management best practices. + Excellent time management, communications, decision-making, presentation, interpersonal and organization skills. Strong technical and non-technical (leadership/management) attributes. + Ability to adapt, multi-task, drive projects, and lead people who may not directly report to you Enthusiastic, hard-working, and very team-oriented. + Shows great attention to detail and produces high-quality work. + An aptitude to provide technical thought leadership, direction, and guidance. + Ability to adequately maintain and manage multiple projects at the same time. + Ability to specify technical changes to technical/development teams. + Strong communication and collaboration skills. + Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability. + Ability to build strong relationships with partners and customers. + Skilled at conflict negotiation and achieving alignment. + Focus on delivering value to stakeholders. + Ability to identify root causes of issues and gaps. + Break down silos and shift opinions using influence. **Computer Skills/Tools & Technology** : Strong computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Vision, Adobe, and SharePoint. Willingness to learn new systems. **Physical Demands** : Sedentary work, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Sedentary work involves sitting. Walking and standing are required occasionally. Position typically requires reaching, standing, walking, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing. **Work Environment:** Standard office environment. May require less than 10% travel. **Language Skills** **_:_** Must speak and write English fluently.
