ResponsibilitiesThe Cloud Office within Developer Services is the front door to teams looking to consume capabilities in the AWS and Azure clouds. Cloud Office responsibilities include facilitating the Cloud Governance process, stewarding the Cloud Strategy, and setting standards and best practices for how teams should operate in the cloud. The Cloud Office also engages with solution teams to provide consultation and guidance. This includes proactive engagement with DevOps teams, cloud consults, roadmapping assistance, and product management for new capabilities to the Cloud Platform automation and cloud reporting. Lastly the Cloud Office owns and provides DevOps automation related to CICD, cost optimization, and other tasks performed by teams operating in the cloud.

In this unique role, you will be responsible for developing, interpreting, reviewing, validating, documenting, and maintaining functional requirements. You will present information and track and respond to questions related to technical standards. In addition, you will participate in acceptance testing, identify potential problems, and assist with researching opportunities to minimize complexity. Here, you will serve as the primary interface between the user (IT engineers) and the Cloud Office team. In this unique role, you will also lead/facilitate scrum ceremonies, and play a role in project and release management.
As an IT Business Analyst on the Cloud Office team, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Our customers are the development engineers within IT with a focus on cloud infrastructure. Our team’s skills relate to building AWS (Amazon Web Services) and/or Microsoft Azure infrastructure, using Terraform and continuous integration & deployment automation methodologies. Here, you will have the opportunity to help maximize the team's efficiency in delivering solutions that meet the non-functional requirements of our products, such as security, compliance, performance, and cost. Some of these opportunities may also include CI/CD and automation standardization along with cloud optimization efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinates and facilitates meetings to define key capabilities and requirements that will enable stakeholders to define technical strategy Evaluates technical requests to determine feasibility; researches and identifies options that best serve technical needs Provides information about how requirements may affect functional design documents Serves as the primary interface between the user and the Cloud Office team; may be required to present formal presentations to end users, stakeholders, and management Conducts structured walkthroughs of requirements with leadership and project team members Participates in user acceptance testing to ensure client/user needs are met Identifies potential problems that may arise with new or enhanced applications Assists with researching opportunities to minimize complexity by leveraging current IT investments and seeking out cost effective solutions Participates in change management activities, including Q&A testing, troubleshooting, and investigation Assists in managing internal projects for the Cloud Office team Assists in Scrum ceremonies and tracking sprint story progression Facilitates rollout and onboarding of new products Manages releases of our products
