Overview of the role:
Saputo is seeking an IT Architect, Artificial Intelligence – Technical Design to support an existing opportunity within our organization. Reporting to the IT Director, Artificial Intelligence, the AI Solution Architect will design and deliver scalable, enterprise‑grade AI solutions that optimize operations and enable data‑driven decision‑making. This role combines strategic thinking with deep technical expertise in AI architecture, machine learning, and data engineering.
You will work with cutting‑edge technologies—including predictive analytics, generative AI, and autonomous AI agents—ensuring these solutions integrate seamlessly into business processes across a dynamic, global environment. Success in this role requires strong technical leadership, cross‑functional collaboration, and the ability to translate complex AI capabilities into practical, high‑impact outcomes.
How you will make contributions that matter:
Architect Scalable AI Solutions: Design and maintain enterprise AI architectures that support model development, deployment, and monitoring. Define standards and patterns for AI solution design across the organization.
Deliver High-Impact Use Cases: Translate business needs into technical solutions. Lead solution design reviews, guide development teams, and ensure successful integration of AI models into production environments.
Lead Data Engineering & MLOps: Ensure high-quality data pipelines in area of responsibility and implement MLOps practices for model lifecycle management, CI/CD, and performance monitoring.
Advance Agentic AI Capabilities: In collaboration with the Global IT Enterprise Architecture team, design and deploy autonomous AI agents that can plan, reason, and act independently. Integrate agentic systems into business workflows to automate complex tasks and support decision-making.
Ensure Governance & Compliance: Embed ethical AI practices, data privacy, and security controls into all solutions. Maintain documentation and support audit readiness.
Collaborate & Enable: Partner with data scientists, engineers, and business teams to deliver AI solutions. Communicate complex concepts clearly and support adoption across the enterprise.
You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:
A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven technical leadership and strong business acumen to drive strategic architectural decisions
5+ years of experience in AI/ML solution development or data engineering, with a track record of deploying scalable, data-driven solutions
Ability to navigate complex, global environments across diverse teams, time zones, and cultures
Hands-on experience in requirements gathering, systems design, and Agile-based solution delivery
Strong collaboration and communication skills to engage effectively with technical and business stakeholders
Experience with agentic AI systems or multi-agent frameworks is a strong asset—especially in designing autonomous agents capable of planning, reasoning, and acting toward goals
Bilingualism in English (required) and French (preferred) to support collaboration in a bilingual, global context

Salary: $104,265 to $136,850
*Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
