Job Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain SQL Server databases, perform queries, and investigate production data issues. 

Create and maintain Power BI dashboards to provide actionable insights to production and management teams. 

Build and support Power Apps solutions to digitize and automate plant floor workflows. 

Troubleshoot and support MES-SAP integrations (e.g., production order downloads, confirmations, inventory transactions). 

Collaborate with IT, production, engineering, and quality teams to deliver reliable system performance and continuous improvement. 

Document incidents, resolutions, and create support guides for recurring issues. 

Participate in MES enhancements, system upgrades, and testing cycles. 

Write, execute, and optimize SQL queries for troubleshooting data issues, extracting reports, and supporting production analysis. 

Support MES system changes and upgrades, including testing, validation, and deployment of new features or configurations with minimal disruption to operations. 

Document incidents, root causes, and resolutions for PRODAP related issues 

Train plant floor operators, supervisors, and support staff on MES functionalities, reporting tools, and new system features 

Maintain compliance with data governance and security standards

Monitor MES system performance and proactively identify potential issues 

2nd-level support for MES-related issues, including root cause analysis, escalation tracking 

Help resolve complex incidents involving system integration, data flow, and application performance. 

Collaborate with MES vendor teams to escalate and resolve unresolved or critical issues 

Conduct root cause analysis of MES failures 

Follow IT SLA for unresolved MES issues 

Design, develop, and maintain MES-related dashboards 

Ensure data integrity and completeness across MES and integrated systems (e.g., SAP) 

Analyze MES data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and recurring issues 

Automate report distribution and dashboard updates to reduce manual effort 

Build custom Power Apps to feed data into reports or support plant floor processes 

Validate report accuracy after MES updates or data model changes 

Provide training on new updates to Shop floor users and level 1 support 

Create and update training documents 

Required Skills:

Completed Computer Science or Technical Education (college, university)

Several years of operation experience in Production environments

General knowledge of PRODAP

Knowledge of various operational system derivatives e.g. Microsoft Windows Server

Advanced knowledge MES-to-ERP integrating (SAP)

Advanced knowledge Writing complex SQL queries, sorted procedures, and views

Advanced knowledge in the Windows server, MS SQL environment, Power APPs/Automate

Power BI (Dashboard development, DAX, Data modeling)

SAP Production Planning (PP)

SAP Materials Management (MM)

Label generation and printing systems integration

Barcode scanners and label printers (Zebra, Honeywell, etc)
