Issue Validation Analyst
**Job Title: Issue Validation Analyst** **Location: Remote - Contract must work EST hours** **Pay Range: $65/hr W2 - cannot work with any visa or third party vendor** Role and Responsibilities: Responsible for overseeing issue remediation efforts by ensuring validation activities are completely and accurately demonstrating issue remediation and risk reduction have been achieved. The following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. Execute issue validation and testing, root cause analysis, and examine key activities to evaluate the effectiveness of remediated business processes and controls Thoroughly document issue validation activities and testing so that third party reviewers can understand test steps, scope, and conclusions Ensure effective and appropriate testing and documentation of review activities in alignment with remediation plans to ensure root cause is addressed and risk is mitigated Perform analysis and provide status updates on issue validation; present results to team and facilitate discussions. Address material issues with senior management, including technical discussion of root cause and evaluation of corrective action plans. Collaborate with Business Unit and Risk Management partners as necessary to ensure issues are validated timely and appropriately Required: + "Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. + Experience operating independently and navigating ambiguity to deliver value. + Excellent communication skills demonstrating the ability to establish credibility with all levels of management effectively. + Strong interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills with the capability to de-escalate tense conversations, actively listen, and guide discussions toward resolution. + Demonstrated ability to organize and manage complex initiatives and deliver high-quality, executive level work products. + Comfort with data and applying analysis to derive value-add insights. + Adept with Microsoft Office products, such as PowerPoint. Desired: + Familiarity with financial services technology-related laws, rules, regulations, and risk management standards (e.g. Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC), Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)). + Familiarity with risk measurement approaches including development of Key Risk Indicators and thresholds and associated reporting and analytics tools (e.g. Tableau). + Familiarity with enterprise Governance Risk and Compliance (eGRC) platforms and tools (e.g., RSA Archer) + Experience in high-stakes or regulated environments If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
