IS Application Development Specialist (Non-clinical) - Interfaces
CTG is seeking an IS Application Development Specialist to join our team. The IS Application Development Specialist (Non‑Clinical) – Interfaces will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing interface integrations across a variety of enterprise and legacy systems. This role ensures reliable data exchange, stable system performance, and smooth operational workflows. The specialist collaborates with technical teams, vendors, and operational stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, support ongoing interface operations, and assist with new development as needed. **Key Responsibilities** **Interface Support & Maintenance** + Provide day‑to‑day support for **existing interfaces across legacy systems** , ensuring stable data flow and timely issue resolution. + Troubleshoot interface errors, data discrepancies, and connectivity issues, escalating to senior developers or integration engineers when necessary. + Monitor interface performance and proactively identify potential failures or bottlenecks. **Support for Philips IBE** + Serve as a primary support resource for **Philips IBE** integrations. + Troubleshoot ingestion, data mapping, and connectivity issues related to Philips IBE. + Collaborate with Philips support teams and internal stakeholders to resolve escalated issues. **Operational Monitoring & Log Review** + Perform routine monitoring of interface logs, queues, and scheduled jobs. + Document and track issues, resolutions, and recurring patterns to support continuous improvement. + Assist in maintaining interface documentation, including data flows, mapping specifications, and operational procedures. **Cross‑Team Collaboration** + Work closely with the integration team as they train on **Epic Bridges** , providing continuity and support for legacy interfaces during the transition. + Partner with application teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors to ensure reliable end‑to‑end data exchange. + Communicate interface status updates, outages, and resolutions to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner. **Enhancement & Development Support** + Assist with minor interface modifications, configuration updates, and testing activities. + Participate in interface upgrade projects, system migrations, and new integration initiatives. + Support testing cycles, including unit, functional, and integrated testing for interface changes. **Required Skills & Qualifications** + Experience supporting **interfaces** in a healthcare or enterprise IT environment. + Strong understanding of: + Legacy system integrations + Interface monitoring and troubleshooting + Log file review and error analysis + Philips IBE or similar device‑based integrations + Ability to analyze technical issues and communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. + Strong documentation, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
