Compensation: $90,000-$95,000 plus yearly 6% discretionary bonus

Job Purpose:
The IRA Administrator is responsible for the accurate administration, reporting, and compliance of Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs). This role requires hands-on experience with IRS reporting forms, deep knowledge of IRA regulations, and the ability to stay current with ongoing regulatory and contribution limit changes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compliance-focused, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a regulated financial environment.

Administer Traditional, Roth, SEP, and SIMPLE IRA accounts in accordance with IRS and regulatory requirementsPrepare, review, and file IRS Forms 5498 and 1099-R accurately and on timeMonitor and implement regulatory updates, including annual contribution limit increases and distribution rule changesEnsure compliance with IRS, DOL, and applicable state regulationsResolve account discrepancies and respond to internal and external inquiriesMaintain accurate records and documentation for audits and regulatory reviewsCoordinate with custodians, advisors, and internal teams to ensure smooth account operationsAssist with regulatory examinations and internal audits as neededContribute to process improvements and compliance controlsRequired Qualifications
Proven experience administering IRAsDirect experience preparing and filing Forms 5498 and 1099-RStrong working knowledge of IRA rules, tax reporting, and compliance requirementsDemonstrated ability to stay current with regulatory changes, including contribution limits and IRS guidanceHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong organizational and time-management skillsProficiency with retirement account systems and Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of IRA or retirement plan administration experienceExperience working with custodians, trust companies, or financial services firmsFamiliarity with ERISA and DOL guidelinesSkills and Knowledge:
