**We are looking for Quality Inspector (Onsite)**
**Location: I** rvine, CA
**Pay Rate:** $23–$26/hour (based on experience)
**Duration:** 6 months (possibility of extension for the right candidate)
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a **Quality Inspector** to support manufacturing and testing operations in a fast-paced medical device environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in receiving inspection, working with hand tools and advanced measurement equipment, and interpreting technical drawings in compliance with FDA, GMP, and ISO 13485 standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Perform receiving inspections using hand tools (calipers, pin/ring/thread gauges, rulers, height gauges, etc.) and visual checks.
+ Conduct Tier 1 inspections (manual) and Tier 2 inspections using advanced instrumentation (e.g. OGP, Keyence IM, 3D/2D projectors).
+ Inspect printed materials such as labels, manuals, inserts, and CDs.
+ Accept or reject incoming supplier lots based on inspection results and document all findings in accordance with quality procedures.
+ Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and sampling plans.
+ Identify and document non-conformances, complete required paperwork, and perform system transactions.
+ Troubleshoot, test, and set up area-specific equipment and materials.
+ Contribute to quality improvements by recommending alternative inspection methods and continuous improvement ideas.
+ Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, ISO 13485, internal policies, and QMS/EMS standards.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ High School Diploma or GED (required)
+ 2–5 years of experience in Quality Inspection, preferably in the medical device industry
+ Proficient with measurement tools and gauges (manual and electronic)
+ Experience with blueprint reading and inspection sampling techniques
+ Strong knowledge of FDA, GMP, and ISO 13485 standards
+ Excellent communication and documentation skills
+ Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
