Position Summary:
An Invigilator in this profile is a McGill Graduate Student employed appointed to assist in the administration of examinations during the periods specified in 2.08 of the Floor Fellow Collective Agreement, as managed by any Hiring Unit. An Invigilator may be assigned different tasks related to the administration and supervision of exams. The primary responsibility is to supervise exams, enforce the University Exam Regulations, and provide an environment which will allow each student to perform to the best of their abilities on their exam.
Job Description:
Responsible for setting up the examination room according to specific requirements. Administers or assists with the delivery of exams and documentation accordingly. Responsible to report any behavior by students that does not comply with University regulations. At the end of the examination period, collects all exam materials and ensures nothing is left behind in the examination room(s). Responsible for reporting back to the instructor.
