We are seeking a talented individual to join our investment team at Mercer, a Marsh business. This role will be based in Hong Kong.
Investment Sales Director, Greater China
In this position, you will leverage Mercer’s position as a top investment solutions and advisory firm to back your sales acumen. Working alongside a world-class team of investment professionals and consultants, you will develop sales strategies to utilise your extensive network and strong industry credibility to generate leads and secure revenue from asset owners.
We will count on you to:
Promote a full suite of Mercer’s investment capabilities to potential clients across both public and private markets.Illustrate your process of managing prospects through long sales cycles and building client relationships through industry knowledge.Manage and develop your sales pipeline to deliver revenue targets.Engage key external stakeholders with the aim of developing strategic investment partnerships.Deliver a strong win-rate through effective proposals and impactful presentations.Support the Wealth leader in managing the sales pipeline and progress.What you need to have:
Proven track record (10+ years) in delivering sales and working with institutional clients within a financial institution/ asset management/ insurance field.Strong sales acumen with experience in identifying and managing client relationships in institutional investment sales.Knowledge of investment market strategies and services.Demonstrated success in managing complex, institutional client portfolios, with a strong preference for experience within the Hong Kong market.Experience in presenting solutions to senior level decision makers.Agile, resilient, and self-driven, with the capacity to work autonomously while maintaining close collaboration with Mercer’s broader global network.Outstanding verbal/written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with fluency in both English, Cantonese/ Mandarin.Proven experience in managing high-risk, high-yield accounts with a strong ability to prioritise and execute multiple sales strategies effectively.What makes you stand out:
