Job Responsibilities
Develop content for strategic meetings with clients regarding M&A transactions; Interact with senior team members and client management teams on a daily basis to execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives; Build and use complex financial models, completing valuation and analytical exercises including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables, LBO and DDM analyses: Develop highly bespoke and sophisticated M&A sale strategy processes; Work closely with clients, JPM industry and sector partners to develop comprehensive transaction materials, including the preparation of business plans, performance analyses, due diligence reports and marketing materials; and Keep abreast of key market developments and establishing knowledge of the target client base and relevant market dynamics.Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
Minimum 1 year work experience in investment banking, ideally in M&A; University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Strong accounting, finance, quantitative and business writing skills; Understanding of the transaction cycle and process steps; Impeccable communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients and key stakeholders in other line of business; Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently; Desire and/or experience in working in infrastructure-related sectors on M&A transactions European language (in addition to English) is desired but not mandatoryThis role encompasses the performance of regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the relevant regulatory authorities to carry out such activities.
