What is the opportunity?
The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in Owen Sound is seeking an Investment Associate to provide dedicated support in investment & money management activities for a high performing Advisory Team.

What will you do?

Execute trades and rebalance portfolios.Follow up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and deliveryProvide proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to details. Liaise with various departments for execution, where necessary.Respond to client inquiries (account transactions, requests for tax receipts, account reporting, etc.).Assist the Advisor team with client onboarding.Help manage incoming communications from clients, Advisors and other internal and external partners.Maintain existing client accounts and identify opportunities to contact clients: manage timelines and key dates for accountsEnsure accurate and timely updates of all necessary documentation in compliance with internal controls and industry regulatory requirements. Maintain complete and up-to-date client files within appropriate systems.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam, CIREStrong Microsoft Office Suite skillsMeticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skillsMinimum of 2 years of experience in securities industry

Nice-to-have

Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures, an asset

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$37,500.00 - $50,000.00

This position includes competitive-based pay, and the overall earning potential is impacted by a variable incentive structure, earning a multiple of salary up to:

1.0x
