Job Description
The Plant Inventory Coordinator plays a vital role in the success of a large-scale construction project by overseeing all activities related to the tracking, counting, and management of plant assets and equipment. This position ensures accurate and timely inventory records, supports logistics and procurement teams, and contributes to efficient resource utilization across multiple job sites, including the Gilboa Dam.
Responsibilities
Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of all plant and equipment inventory, including tools, machinery, and construction vehicles.Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile discrepancies between actual inventory and system records.Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and procurement teams to forecast equipment needs and availability.Use inventory management software to monitor usage, location, condition, and maintenance schedules.Track the movement of assets between project sites to ensure accountability and timely deployment.Prepare inventory reports and analysis for management to support planning and budgeting decisions.Assist in implementing inventory control processes and identify opportunities for improvements.Essential Skills
Attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications like Outlook, Word, and Excel.Ability to pass an MVR and ability to drive a company vehicle.Experience in inventory management or construction logistics.Familiarity with equipment types used in large-scale construction.Proficient in inventory software and Microsoft Excel.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
The position involves reporting to the work site trailer for daily tasks and working independently or alongside contractors on the site. The shift is from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with occasional overtime. The role requires the ability to walk, stand, bend, and climb for extended periods while conducting inventory counts across construction sites. You must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain, and capable of lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds. Frequent movement between job sites may involve driving and navigating uneven terrain.

This is a contract position based out of Gilboa, New York, set to last a minimum of 6 months but very well could range 2+ years.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
