Description
Responsible for inventory management and purchasing within QuickBooks software.General overview of production process.Monitor prices and quantity of raw ingredients ordered.Monitor stock of raw ingredients, packaging material and finished products.Work directly with production manager and plant manager to ensure production schedule is on track.Responsible for scheduling new purchase order items on the production schedule and placing sales order if needed for ingredients.Coordinate with the sales team and vice president of technical sales to ensure finished goods are scheduled on time with proper lead time.Assist in yearly inventory counting.Entering sales orders in Inventory management system accurately and timely. Coordinate with the purchasing manager about pricing and availability of raw ingredients.Work with finance and accounting department to make sure the pricing of new products are set up correctly in the inventory and accounting software.Input daily production report numbers and receiving ingredients in inventory management software.Follow up with suppliers on ingredient/packaging material order.Work directly with batching employees to get actual count of ingredients in the warehouse.Work with shipping and receiving for timely and efficient delivery of finished goods and receiving of incoming ingredients.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School diploma or equivalent required.1-2 years of inventory management experience (manufacturing industry required)Excellent attention to detail is a mustStrong organizational skills & time management skillsAbility to multi-taskAbility to communicate professionally and maintain professional relationshipsStrong proficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelExperience Level
