**Job Title: Inventory Specialist** Job Description As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate records of materials and orders, performing physical inventory counts, and addressing discrepancies. You will also be responsible for advising supervisors on daily cycle count issues and handling materials using various equipment. Responsibilities + Maintain records of materials and orders, ensuring accuracy and accountability. + Perform physical inventory counts and monitor discrepancies. + Advise supervisors on daily cycle count issues. + Operate forklifts, dollies, and other equipment to transport shipments from the stockroom to production areas. + Sort, count, and verify materials to maintain accurate records. Essential Skills + Proficiency in inventory management and control. + Strong data entry skills and experience with Excel. + Experience with shipping and receiving processes. + Familiarity with warehouse inventory and management systems. + Forklift operation experience, including sit-down forklifts. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or GED. + At least 2 years of receiving experience. + Computer literacy and strong organizational skills. + Attention to detail and teamwork abilities. Work Environment This role involves both indoor and outdoor work, including time spent in a steel yard. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
