Inventory Specialist
Job Title: Inventory Specialist

Job Description

This position involves counting parts on shelves in a warehouse environment. The role requires collaboration with two UAW members to conduct inventory audits, reviewing over 38,000 parts, matching parts with their codes in SAP, and completing inventory sheets with information entered into SAP. Problem-solving and investigative work are needed if a code cannot be found, including pulling up the original purchase order to work backwards.

Responsibilities

Count and verify parts on shelves within a warehouse setting.Collaborate with two UAW members to perform inventory audits.Review and manage an inventory of over 38,000 parts.Match parts with their respective codes using SAP.Complete inventory sheets and accurately enter data into SAP.Engage in problem-solving and investigative tasks if part codes are missing.Utilize original purchase orders to resolve discrepancies.Accurately count various types of products.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.Experience in inventory control and cycle counts.Familiarity with SAP and ERP systems.Strong attention to detail.Previous experience in inventory management.Problem-solving and investigative skills for handling miscounts and recounts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

SAP experience is highly preferred.Previous cycle counting experience.

Work Environment

The role operates Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, within a warehouse atmosphere. The position involves using various technologies and requires adherence to a standard work schedule.

Job Type & Location

This is a position based out of Wentzville, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
