**Job Title: Inventory Specialist** **Job Description** The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring efficient inventory control processes within the distribution facility. This role supports warehouse operations by monitoring stock levels, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring data integrity in the Warehouse Management System (WMS). **Responsibilities** + Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across all storage locations. + Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies. + Investigate and resolve inventory issues in collaboration with warehouse and customer service teams. + Update and maintain inventory data in the WMS. + Assist in inbound and outbound shipment verification to ensure inventory accuracy. + Generate inventory reports and provide insights for audits and compliance with inventory control procedures. + Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners regarding inventory status. + Identify process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations. + Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel. + Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Working here offers a national footprint and the ability to advance locally and nationally, providing growth opportunities within the organization. **Work Environment** This position is based in an office and DC warehouse environment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, Oregon. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
