Inventory Specialist - Oceanside, CA Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and verifying incoming materials, managing inventory, and documenting information using an ERP system. This role requires someone who can pull material from drawings and specifications, generate Material Status Reports, and coordinate procurement entries. The Inventory Specialist will also be responsible for receipt inspections and maintaining custody of materials in a secure area.ResponsibilitiesReceive and verify incoming materials based on placed orders.Manage inventory and perform inventory management using an ERP system.Document and input information for received materials in the ERP system.Generate and populate Material Status Reports per craft.Notify purchasing of entries for procurement.Perform receipt inspections and maintain custody of Government Furnished Material (GFM).Log and store materials in Conex/warehouse.Identify assemblies on drawings and specifications that require fabrication.Request Fab Shop to fabricate specific pieces for jobs.Pull details from assembly drawings for documentation and accountability.Essential Skills3-5 years of experience in Inventory and Receiving.3-5 years of inventory control experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office.Experience with data entry and requirement documentation.Computer literacy with ERP system experience preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsIndependence and resourcefulness are crucial for success in this role.Why Work Here?Join a dynamic and flexible work environment where your skills and creativity are valued. Candidates must be comfortable with a less structured setting. The role requires working closely with the purchasing manager based in Texas. The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
