Job Description

The Inventory Operations Manager will be responsible for driving improvement initiatives, implementing inventory controls and risk management, data analysis and reporting, inventory auditing and compliance, and providing training and documentation as needed, in order to support all aspects of the Inventory Stewardship Program.

Key Responsibilities:

Enhance customer relationships by identifying areas for improvement in the overall customer experienceLead the identification and implementation of process improvements based on findingsWork cross-functionally with supply chain, finance, and operations teams to establish best practices and corrective actions for inventory managementEnsure that corrective actions are carried out in a timely manner, and track the success of those initiatives to continuously improve inventory accuracyPromote a culture of continuous improvement through process optimization, and innovationAnalyze processes to identify discrepancies, trends, and potential risks related to inventory managementPrepare and present detailed reports on findings, including discrepancies, recommendations for improvement, and root cause analysisGenerate actionable insights and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve inventory discrepancies, address inefficiencies, and improve overall inventory managementRegularly assess inventory management processes for gaps, vulnerabilities, or inefficiencies, proposing improvements or new tools where necessaryEnsure compliance with internal audit standards, SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley), and any relevant regulatory requirementsDevelop and implement audit schedules and inventory verification protocols to maintain accuracyWork closely with warehouse and operations teams to plan, organize, and manage audits with minimal disruption to daily operationsServe as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding inventory issues, findings, and improvement opportunitiesPartner with Operations, Warehouse, Procurement, Finance, and IT teams to enhance inventory processes, accuracy, and controlsProvide training and guidance to staff (if needed) on procedures and the importance of accurate reportingOther duties as required

QualificationsBachelor's degree with a specialization in Supply Chain, related field or equivalent experience5+ years logistics, supply chain, large scale warehouse operations or related experience 3+ years demonstrated experience planning, organizing, tracking and controlling tasks to achieve goals3+ years stakeholder management and facilitation1+ specific customer experience within customer systems and knowledge of their SOP/SWI operationsExperience in SOX, inventory audits, driving process improvements, and implementing corrective actionsKnowledge of Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, and dashboard reporting is preferredExperience and knowledge of inventory management software, SAP/WMS systemsAbility to use critical thinking to develop, evaluate, recommend and present best optionsAbility to work independently and as part of a cross-functional teamA proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a commitment to driving resultsRisk sensitive, recognizes when problems arise or are likely to arise Excellent customer service skills, including a proven ability to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate Proficiency in using Google Suite tools, including Google Sheets, for data analysis and information sharingTravel 10%Reports onsite to customer location(s) as neededMust be willing to occasionally work outside normal business hours, including weekends
