Your New Role…\nThe Inventory Operations Lead serves as a key operations leader within the store, responsible for managing all product intake, back of house organization, stock replenishment, merchandising presentation and the day to day execution of the Personalization department. This role combines operational skill, merchandise presentation expertise and technical capability, overseeing a single department for product availability, inventory movement, stock presentation standards and personalized product services for guests.\n\nThe position requires a highly organized, detail focused leader who can execute receiving routines, maintain a structured and efficient stockroom, support replenishment routines, demonstrate knowledge of product placement and deliver personalized product services with accuracy and care. The Lead will be equired to perform multiple operational functions at a high standard and demands cross-functional capability that cannot be isolated to one area of responsibility. The Inventory Operations Lead provides daily leadership to Associates working in receiving, replenishment and personalization, and is responsible for building a strong workflow that supports both commercial goals and guest experience.\n\nYour Key Responsibilities…\n\nBack of House Operations\n•\tLead all product receiving, processing and organisation routines to ensure timely and accurate intake of merchandise.\n•\tMaintain a structured and efficient back of house environment through strong organisation systems, clear zoning and consistent stockroom standards.\n•\tManage equipment use including pallet jacks, ladders and safety tools and ensure the team follows operational safety procedures, as well as using equipment yourself to execute tasks daily. \n•\tOversee storage, product handling and inventory movement to minimise damages, errors and delays to replenishment, consistently seeking improvements.\n•\tSupport accuracy through receiving of deliveries, documentation of variances and coordination of stock adjustments when required, using systematic tools and data. \n•\tOversee inventory damages process, cycle counting, and stock integrity investigation as directed. \n•\tMaintain all areas of back of house and personalization in line with safety, compliance and operational guidelines.\n•\tPerform both manual stock handling tasks and fine-detail personalization work, balancing heavy lifting, equipment handling and precision-based production.\n\nReplenishment \n•\tLead shop floor replenishment by prioritising high demand areas, maintaining stock levels and supporting the store in meeting density targets.\n•\tEnsure stock presentation supports both Visual Merchandising standards and commercial performance, leading the team to execute this and having a strong shop floor presence. \n•\tGuide Associates on correct zoning, filling and merchandising techniques to maintain high guest readiness and consistently achieve high quality brand standards.\n•\tPartner with Visual Merchandising and Sales leadership on floor moves, new product launches and seasonal changeovers.\n•\tMonitor stock availability and identify opportunities to improve product replenishment and flow from back of house to the sales floor.\n•\tOwn the full product lifecycle from receiving and back of house organization to shop floor replenishment and personalized product fulfilment, ensuring a continuous, efficient flow. \n\nPersonalization\n•\tOversee the daily operation of the Personalization department including the handling of personalised merchandise, equipment setup and order processing.\n•\tEnsure all personalised items are produced with accuracy, attention to detail and full adherence to brand guidelines.\n•\tMaintain and operate personalization equipment with care, ensuring the team follows all handling, safety and quality processes.\n•\tOversee all personalization supplies, maintaining an accurate tracking system to allow for lead time ordering and collaboration with the Warehouse team. \n•\tManage personalization order processes and wait times, troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate technical concerns where needed.\n•\tMaintain strong guest focus and ensure personalised products enhance the overall store experience.\n\nPeople\n•\tProvide daily leadership, training and coaching to Associates receiving deliveries, back of house operations, replenishment and personalization.\n•\tSet clear expectations and support the team in achieving operational standards, productivity goals and accuracy requirements.\n•\tPartner with the Inventory Operations Manager on workload planning, stockroom processes and staffing distribution.\n•\tSupport operational communication by providing updates, progress reports and escalations to leadership.\n\nQualifications and Competencies\n•\tTwo to four years experience in retail operations, back of house leadership with clear demonstrable merchandising abilities. \n•\tProven ability to lead stockroom receiving, processing and organisation routines.\n•\tExperience leading replenishment, merchandise presentation and stock density standards.\n•\tExperience working with technical equipment and specialised processes is preferred.\n•\tStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple operational priorities.\n•\tPhysically able to lift, move and process product and fixtures in alignment with safety standards.\n•\tStrong communication skills and ability to coach and guide a team.\n•\tGood understanding and previous use of inventory systems and retail processes.\nWork Pattern\n•\tUp to 40 hours a week working 8-hour shifts, this role will require working weekends. This role will be based in-store at Harry Potter Shop New York. \nDue to the adaptive nature of this role flexibility is required to suit the needs of the business.How We Get Things Done…

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $38,468.00 - $71,440.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
