**Job Title: Inventory/Material Supervisor**
**Job Description**
An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and skilled Inventory/Material Supervisor to join an electronics manufacturing company on a 3-month contract. The role involves overseeing and optimizing the warehouse's daily operations and inventory management, ensuring efficient production and accurate reporting.
**Responsibilities**
+ Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse.
+ Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures and workflows.
+ Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct customer demand.
+ Define and implement warehouse metrics to improve overall production effectiveness.
+ Report to upper management on stock levels and any issues.
+ Inspect the levels of business supplies and inventory to identify shortages.
+ Validate quantities within the facility by overseeing cycle counts.
+ Analyze cost loss from cycle counts and operational inefficiencies.
+ Develop staff and create a solid succession plan for warehouse positions.
+ Identify and address over shipments.
+ Maintain efficient and effective storage and distribution of goods.
+ Forecast future workloads and quality needs.
+ Analyze performance cycles of the warehouse to maintain productivity.
+ Handle pick pack, shipping, and receiving functional roles.
+ Oversee new and aging bins for put away.
**Essential Skills**
+ Five years of strong warehouse experience.
+ Organizational skills.
+ Computer skills.
+ Supervisory skills in inventory control.
+ Experience with cycle counts and warehouse inventory management.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to oversee 5-10 people in the stockroom.

**Work Environment**

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Richardson, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
