Inventory Manager
**Job Title: Inventory Manager** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to take full ownership of inventory management and control within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on ensuring optimal stock levels, maintaining accurate records, and working closely with the Shipping/Receiving and Purchasing teams to meet production schedule demands. The ideal candidate will use ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics, to effectively track and manage inventory. **Responsibilities** + Oversee and manage inventory control processes in a manufacturing setting. + Ensure optimal stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records. + Collaborate with Shipping/Receiving and Purchasing teams to meet production schedule demands. + Communicate effectively with internal and external departments. + Utilize ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics, to track and manage inventory. + Create, implement, and enforce inventory-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). + Work closely with engineering, production planning, and quality departments. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of experience as a Supervisor or Inventory Manager in a manufacturing setting. + Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365. + Strong skills in production inventory, stock control, and materials control management. + Experience in creating and enforcing inventory-specific SOPs. + Ability to work closely with engineering, production planning, and quality departments. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + APICS CPIM (Certified in Planning and Inventory Management). + CIOP (Certified Inventory Optimization Professional). + Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt or higher). + Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems. + Inventory optimization, ABC analysis, and KPI development for inventory accuracy and turns. + Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or related field. **Work Environment** The work environment consists of a medium-sized, clean, and organized shop that is one of four facilities. Although the facility is non-climate controlled, it is equipped with numerous fans and open bay doors. As a busy production shop, the pace is fast, with over 200 employees. The inventory managed is valued at over $10M. The dress code includes steel toes, jeans, work shirts, and safety glasses. The role operates primarily on the day shift from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, with frequent extended hours and a typical workweek exceeding 50 hours. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Pasadena, Texas **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr. 2 weeks PTO Health, Dental, Vision, Aflac offered 401k, Company Matches 4% Catering food regularly.
